It is the biggest sporting event in the history of Hungary, attended by athletes from more than 200 countries. Marking 250 days to go to this much anticipated event, the WCH Budapest 2023 Local Organising Committee will put 420,000 tickets on sale on 12 December in a first come, first served online ticketing programme. Tickets and packages are available for a total of 14 stadium sessions. The arena will have an initial capacity of 35,000 for the 2023 championships before being reduced to 15,000 as part of a sustainable reconstruction.
